今回、ロンドンを拠点とするイタリア出身の現代アーティストAnna Lauriniさんとコラボレーションさせていただくことになりました！

そんなAnnaさんがどんな方かをもっと知り、知ってもらいたいと思い、質問をさせていただきました。

その質問と回答を雑誌の対談ノリでここに記載していこうと思い、進めております。

あなたのプロフィールを教えてください。

I am Anna Laurini, a London-based contemporary artist originally from Milan, Italy. My work is deeply inspired by abstract expressionism, modernist movements, and the raw energy of city life. Over the years, I have developed a distinctive visual language characterized by bold lines, expressive faces, and powerful simplicity. My art spans painting, street art, and mixed media—often merging human emotion with a spontaneous, intuitive process.

2. How did you start painting?

   絵を描き始めたきっかけは？

I began painting as a young adult during my time in New York City. The vibrancy and artistic freedom of the city sparked something in me. I studied at the Art Students League and immersed myself in its creative community. Painting became both a way to communicate and to connect—something I felt compelled to pursue fully.

3. Which artists have influenced you?

　影響を受けたアーティストは？

I don’t follow any particular artist. What inspires me most is the pure passion and intuitive urge behind creation itself. I’m drawn to raw, honest expression—art that comes straight from the soul without overthinking.

 特定のアーティストの追っかけはしていない。 私に最もインスピレーションを与えてくれるのは、創作そのものの背後にある純粋な情熱と直感的な衝動だ。 私は、生々しく正直な表現、つまり考えすぎずに魂からストレートに出てくるアートに惹かれる。

4. What is your favorite movie?

Eyes Wide Shut—because it reveals all the misdeeds of the ruling class and the blackmail system used to control those in power.
